Richard Purcell is a Chiropractor and Osteomyologist who provides safe and effective treatments for a range of conditions such as back pain, neck and shoulder injuries, and hip, leg, foot and joint problems.
Well known throughout Cardiganshire, Richard Purcell trained as a Chiropractor and Sports Therapist and worked as a Chiropractor for many years before complementing his skills with Osteomyology. The aim of both is the same: working to ease and cure a range of problems associated with the spine, neck and joints.
Osteomyologists incorporate many of the principles, techniques and methods of Osteopathy and Chiropractic in their work, but are qualified in a variety of techniques and have a more holistic approach to treatment. Osteomyology focuses on the root cause of the condition so that the symptoms abate and recurrence is prevented where possible. Treatment takes the form of spinal manipulation, and/or soft tissue massage, but may also use ultra sound, electro-therapy and heat lamps in certain conditions, if indicated.
